Through open and honest communication and greater understanding of each other’s needs and interests, the clients can reach their own unique agreements to serve them for better futures.

Mediation is a voluntary process, both clients must volunteer to enter into the Mediation Process.

Mediation is a confidential process. This means that any discussions in Mediation cannot be used in any potential future court proceedings. The confidentiality of the Mediation process allows the clients to fully explore all options to resolve their conflict.

One of the key advantages of Mediation is that the clients can resolve their issues, themselves. At court, the outcomes to their conflict will be determined by a Judge. Mediation empowers clients to make their own decisions.

In addition, Mediation takes places in an informal setting where the clients can be open and honest. Clients can discuss their conflict with each other in a non adversarial manner. In a court process, each client would have their own legal counsel reinforcing each client’s position and not seeking amiable solutions.

Mediation creates solutions that are long lasting as clients have reached their own agreements and have a greater understanding of each other to support the agreements long term with peaceful relationships.
